About The Game
Montabi is an indie deck-building and creature-collecting roguelike game developed by Mankibo in which players must save their city from the local X Gang. You collect more than 60 unique "Montaba" creatures and fight alongside them, training them to evolve into stronger forms with expanded card abilities. Battles take place on a 3x3 tactical grid, where you need to combine creature synergies, amulets and equipment to outsmart your opponents.
Players choose one of a variety of trainers with different play styles: from head to head and precise positioning to team enhancement with food. Trainers act like chess kings, i.e. the game ends instantly if your trainer falls in battle. To survive this journey, you have to go through more than 30 randomly generated city events and enter cafes to restore your team's health points.
