About The Game

Aksun is a brutal role-playing game in the rogalight genre, the action of which unfolds in a dark world formed by Korean shamanic folklore and the cycle of samsara. Trapped in a cursed device known as The Coffin, you are forced to overcome the endless deaths to suppress the chaotic forces of the prophet King Mokdu. The gameplay combines fast-paced hack and slash with sophisticated combat mechanics, requiring you to combine dashes, spells and melee attacks on distorted, branching maps with nodal points.

Normal enemies stagger under your blows, but relentless Daemons don't flinch, forcing you to make precise parries with Counter Conjured to turn their attack into a counterattack opportunity. The basis of your equipment is three unique types of weapons associated with the Guardians of Trials, which develop as you progress, unlocking the powerful Awakening and Final Awakening abilities.

The deep system of building builds is based on spending the collected Echoes to engrave 30 legendary artifacts, which leads to Revelations, which determine the course of the passage. To further customize your characteristics, you can collect and combine more than 60 common artifacts filled with five different elements: Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, and Lightning. The current journey spans three separate chapters filled with strategic path choices, deep mythology, and challenging boss battles.
