About The Game

Taival is a role-playing adventure set in an open voxel world, where the main goal of a party of adventurers is to restore the shattered Heart Stone. In this cubic world, divided into four natural zones, the wanderers are accompanied by the last surviving mystical creature, Henki. This companion possesses the rare gift of shapeshifting, allowing him to assume the appearance of the monsters he encounters. By absorbing the essences of the fauna, this companion learns new useful skills for combat and overcoming obstacles. A dual progression system allows you to simultaneously develop the protagonists' talents and the abilities of your magical beast.

Co-op play supports up to four players, combining local split-screen and online play. Taival's cooperative format brings an interesting twist to the classic exploration of territories and story missions. During dialogues with locals, each partner can influence the course of the story. A special cursor allows allies to highlight desired response options before making a final group decision. In addition to completing quests, companions can master crafting, practice alchemy, and search for rare equipment.

The project's visual style draws attention with vibrant, hand crafted block graphics that create a cozy atmosphere. The landscape delights the eye with picturesque hills, dense forests, and majestic snow capped peaks. Throughout their travels, travelers build a magical home that serves as a safe haven. This base can be customized, upgraded, and freely moved to any open area. The variety of tactical approaches and freedom of movement make this voxel world a wonderful place for shared leisure time.
