Cyberpunk RPG Celestial Return, Featuring a Detective and a Talking Rose, Released on PC Developer Metaphor Games and publisher Shoreline Games have released the narrative driven RPG Celestial Return. The game is now available on PC via Steam. Although the release was originally postponed from its planned May 2026 date, it has now launched. Console versions are expected in early 2027, at which time support for additional languages ​​will also be added.

Celestial Return is set in Netherveil City, a noir-style cyberpunk metropolis. The protagonist is a detective named Howard, who is aided in his investigation of a series of mysterious suicides by a sentient rose. This talking flower serves as a full fledged partner to the detective, effectively lightening the game's otherwise grim atmosphere. Player choices shape Howard’s personality, directly influencing how the detective interacts with the world and other characters. The story features a non-linear narrative; available actions are determined by collected dice and the protagonist's current personality traits.
