The game takes place in a sprawling, sprawling metropolis overrun by corruption, lawlessness, and a secret society known as «The Architects.» Players are cast as skillful mercenaries, called «Chaos Runners,» handpicked from the fringes of society to participate in the savage spectacle that is GoreBox. These deadly warriors, equipped with cutting-edge cybernetic enhancements, become gladiators of the digital age, trapped in a lethal and otherworldly virtual battleground. GoreBox offers a breathtaking variety of game modes, from the intense «Last Survivor» mode, where players fight to be the sole survivor amid a constantly shrinking play area, to the pulse-pounding «Hunters' Gauntlet,» where Chaos Runners must fend off relentless waves of AI-controlled assassins while hunting down their rivals.
