Kingdom Eighties is a side-scrolling real-time strategy game. A new part of the Kingdom series, despite the fact that it tells its own story, which even a beginner can easily delve into. Everything takes place in a small American town, which is attacked by Greed. This is a mysterious force that captures everything in its path, absorbs people and turns them into gray monsters that look like aliens. It seemed that there was no one to stop this threat, as the power of the town fell, but there are teenage children who do not succumb to the attack of Greed.

They decide to join forces and repel the invaders in order to save the city and its inhabitants. The gameplay is presented in the form of a strategy, as you need to manage a squad of schoolchildren who will gradually liberate and clean up the city. Each character has their own weapons and opinions that can be used in battles. You can find new weapons, equipment, or create it from the items found. It is also possible to find shelters and equip them, thereby clearing the city, gradually expanding the zone of free influence. The game has pixel art with 2D art and very smooth animations, but the overall visual style is somewhat gloomy.
