About The Game

Terra Nil — is an interesting strategy and puzzle game based on the original reverse city builder rules. During the game, we do not build cities, but restore life in the wastelands. The project was developed by the studio Free Lives, whose portfolio includes the much-acclaimed Broforce although initially only three independent developers worked on it, who released its first version on the Itch.io platform, and it was released by Devolver Digital. In Terra Nil, the action was shown in an isometric view. The game takes place slowly, in procedurally generated wastelands located in different regions. The first thing we have to do after the start of the test is to install a windmill to generate electricity.

Build an infrastructure for irrigating the soil. This allows you to get rid of dirt from the ground, on which the first plants begin to grow over time. We can then take on more challenging tasks such as restoring biodiversity, regulating local climate, or finally attracting wildlife. Of course, all this requires the construction of appropriate structures and their feeding. Once the newly created ecosystem begins teeming with life, we have no choice but to head into the next desert. But before we can do that, we need to remove and recycle all the buildings we built. The graphic design of Terra Nil is designed in a nice looking colorful cartoon style. The gameplay is accompanied by sounds of nature.
