Niffelheim is a 2D RPG sandbox with Nordic mythology motifs. You will play for the brave Viking, who entered the fray with the demons of death. Your task is to emerge victorious in this unequal confrontation, and for this, thoroughly pump your hero. You will find a completely hand-drawn world with an unusual atmosphere. Complete freedom of action: go wherever you want and do what you want. You can explore randomly generated dungeons that are filled not only with creepy and dangerous creatures, but also with valuable treasures. You can trade or build your own farm. Of course, the Niffelheim game, first of all, is designed for bloody adventures in dark dungeons, so, leading a moderate and calm life, you are unlikely to achieve anything.

It is a role-playing game with high-quality hand-drawn 2D graphics and a fully open game world filled with dungeons, dense forests and other locations created by random generation. Apparently, when developing the game, the creators were inspired by the famous television series «Vikings», as well as such well-known game projects as The Banner Saga, Terraria, Skyrim and several others.
Events in the game take place in a dark world based on Scandinavian mythology, with the participation of demons, gods and various heroes. Among the enemies of your hero await huge wolves, skeletons, giants and so on. The peculiarity of your hero is a developed skill tree, thanks to which you can pump it the way you want and create a truly unique fighter. But in addition to fighting skills, the hero is abundant in others, such as the creation of various items, collecting, crafts, construction, and so on.
