Ode of the Wandering Knight is a cozy wuxia farming and life sim from XUT studio, currently in early access. The premise is a refusal: no war to win, no sect to lead, no revenge to finish, and nothing to do but take a patch of wasteland in the mountains and turn it into a home, one field and one roof at a time. Crops, livestock, fishing and cooking fill the day, and the sun sets early enough that a session ends on a natural beat. Travellers from the martial world pass through, and some of them have stories worth hearing. Practising a form or two keeps the old skills alive, though nothing forces you back into a fight. The homestead grows in layers. Fields are reclaimed from scrub, grains and fruit are planted, animals are raised, and courtyards are arranged with furniture that changes how the place feels.
