About The Game

Stillwake is a first person survival horror game from Rage Games and it sends you to an abandoned psychiatric hospital on a remote island. You play as Blake Hale. He is a detective whose father worked there as the chief physician. Years ago a mysterious incident killed the father along with many patients and staff members. Nobody ever explained what happened that night. Blake refuses to live with the doubt any longer and travels to the island to find the truth on his own. The island keeps its silence and the silence is part of the fear. The corridors are dark and the buildings are falling apart. The main trick of stealth here is your own voice. The game listens through your microphone and enemies react to real noise. The microphone turns even a whispered comment into a risk. Speak too loud and they will come looking for you. This turns every room into a tense balancing act between curiosity and silence. Staying quiet is not a tip here it is the core rule of survival. Every part of the hospital carries its own atmosphere with distinct puzzles and residents who hide dark secrets of the past. Puzzles build on documents items and observation skills while survival runs on limited resources so every decision matters. The atmosphere draws on the classic representatives of the survival horror genre and it shows in every shadow. The story unfolds through notes and locations that reveal what the hospital was hiding. Some notes read like medical records and some corridors feel like a confession.
