About The Game

A roguelike action game with unique time-manipulation mechanics, Ascend to ZERO will launch on Xbox Series X and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on July 13th. Ascend to ZERO challenges players to manipulate time through dynamic combat and explore a shattered future. You take control of the Chrono Child, the only being capable of traveling back in time to stop a legion of mechanical monsters from devastating humanity. Every step through a dangerous world requires strategic thinking: freezing time helps you evade attacks and take advantageous positions, but this ability is limited. Players will be able to choose unique avatars, wield powerful weapons and items, and develop their build with each playthrough.

An infinite progression system allows you to power up in seconds and battle higher-level enemies, earning generous rewards. The story takes place in the year 22XX, when humanity has created an underground Time Laboratory. The planet faces catastrophe, and only the Chrono Child, guided by a mysterious helper, can set the future on the path to recovery. Players must unravel the mysteries of a time rift, defeat the Legion, and restore the devastated world.
