About The Game

Embers Verge is a harsh and realistic survival simulator in the open world of Feralless Games, where there is no fantasy of zombies or mutants, and the main enemy is the wild nature itself. You find yourself completely naked and helpless on a deserted island after being betrayed and your only goal is to survive without any modern electrical tools or ready-made equipment. The essence of the game is based on authentic primitive survival and resource gathering, where you will have to build reliable shelters yourself, hunt wild animals with a bow and set traps in time to prepare for the devastating winter cold, blizzards, floods and droughts.

The main feature of the gameplay is the deep physics and mechanics of the complete thermal balance of the character's body, due to which rain or sleet instantly causes hypothermia if you did not have time to hide by the fire. The peculiarity of the construction is the need to first carefully level the ground with an ordinary stick and only then to build strong wooden structures to protect against storms, and the logs have to be literally carried on one's shoulder due to the weight limit of the inventory. The game has a fair change of the four seasons, and if in summer there is plenty of food and berries around, then in winter deep snowdrifts greatly slow down the movement, completely hide stones under the snow and force you to smoke meat in advance or dry herbs for tea in order to last until spring.

• This is an open-ended sandbox survival experience with an optional guided start. There are no long-term guided quests, scripted objectives, or time limits. You can explore and survive at your own pace.

• Optimized for 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios. Note: Ultrawide is not natively supported and cuts off the UI. To fix this, disable forced stretching in your GPU settings to play with black bars on the sides.
• Designed for mouse & keyboard gameplay
• Steam Deck: Officially rated "Playable" by Valve. (Note: Primarily designed for Mouse & Keyboard. On Steam Deck, you may need to manually bring up the on-screen keyboard or rebind some non-essential keys, as the game displays M&K prompts.)
