The Gallery Episode 2 Heart of the Emberstone VR — Cloudhead Games continues to develop a VR direction with The Gallery series of games. This time, players will have access to a Gauntlet device with telekinetic abilities, through which most puzzles are unleashed. While the first episode was considered quite compact in terms of travel time, the next episode of Cloudhead Games tried to make it longer. The developer added puzzles, expanded the plot and equipped the interactive environment with various secret places.The studio also added a few chips that distinguish the game from the usual concept of gameplay in the fantasy puzzle genre. Firstly, during the search for Amber you will be presented with three main areas that you should switch among themselves, solving a problem in one place will help to unlock another. Secondly, you will need to switch between these areas quite often, since there is an extended boot sequence. At that time, initially it all looks quite impressive, the constant loading very soon begins to get on the user’s nerves.
This is the only drawback of this game. VR fans will be happy to know that Cloudhead Games includes a wider range of motion options, and not just the standard teleport that we could already see in the first episode of the game. Now you can move as if playing a first-person shooter (FPS) is a much more common option; now it will be a great relief for those who do not suffer from a simulated disease, as this creates a much more attractive and exciting experience.
NOTES. You need a VR headset in order to play this game. This release was successfully tested Oculus Rift VR.
