About The Game

TOEM 2 is a relaxing photo adventure from the independent studio Something We Made, released together with popagenda as a direct sequel to the beloved original. The curious photographer returns with a newly awakened passion for mysterious events known as TOEMs, hidden across all new cozy regions waiting to be documented. The player runs, jumps and climbs through welcoming environments, uncovers hidden paths, scenic viewpoints and small details, and meets a cast of quirky characters and adorable critters along the way. Lending a hand to new faces, building lasting friendships and cataloguing memories turn every stroll into a small detective story told through a camera lens. The world is built to reward curiosity at every step rather than speed, and the journey welcomes both returning fans of the first game and people who join the series for the first time. Every region holds its own pace, its own residents and its own collection of little wonders that only a patient observer will notice.

The gameplay centers on the upgraded camera and the many ways it interacts with the world. Pictures can solve puzzles, uncover secrets and document discoveries, while new attachments allow unconventional solutions to problems in every region. The journal fills with stamps for completed quests, documented finds and expanded critter compendium entries, and these stamps act as tickets that unlock the next stretch of the journey. There are no time limits or tricky requirements for full completion, so players can listen to music on a bench, admire the sights and wander wherever the lens leads them. Among the most pleasant features are the gentle pacing, the warm humor of the local residents and the quiet sense of wonder in every small detail waiting to be photographed.
