ACE COMBAT 8 WINGS OF THEVE is an aerial combat action shooter developed by Bandai Namco Aces Inc., the studio where the PROJECT ACES team has carried the franchise for more than two decades. The campaign puts you in the cockpit of an elite pilot during a fresh global conflict, and each sortie brings hard choices that decide the fate of your squadron mates. Story missions unfold above a world of living skies, rendered with dynamic multi layer cloudscapes where storms, sunlight and thin air change the shape of every dogfight. The full release is dated for the first of October 2026, while the Deluxe Edition adds a customizable cosmetic set, a premium pass voucher and three days of early access. Buyers who pre order also receive a legendary bonus interceptor aircraft together with a Steam version of the classic predecessor Ace Combat Zero, which runs as a separate add on program alongside the base game.
