About The Game

Sunset Summit is an indie action adventure climbing game developed by Joe and Andrew Fender. Players control a group of elderly friends journeying across four unique floating sky islands, aiming to reach ancient summits before sunset. The game features 16 meticulously crafted routes, offering over 16 hours of climbing gameplay across varying difficulty levels. You can embark on the journey solo offline or team up with up to eight other players in co op mode, using walkie talkies and proximity voice chat to coordinate your ascent.

Core mechanics involve climbing rock faces with ice axes, setting up ropes, and launching delivery drones to pass gear to teammates. Climbers can also utilize unconventional items such as pogo sticks, umbrellas, and performance enhancing pills to navigate challenging terrain. Falls are not a major setback, thanks to frequent checkpoints and instant respawns. Additionally, you can capture your group's journey through the fully hand crafted environments using a realistic in-game camera.
