About The Game

Voxelion puts players in charge of a colony inside a fully destructible voxel world. This strategy simulation was created by CubeHeadsStudio, which takes care of both development and publishing. You start with a few structures and grow them into a working city where production, logistics, and survival all depend on your planning.

The terrain itself is a tool. Settlers can tear down mountains, fill holes, and reshape the land to your advantage. The ground can become a wall for defense or an open road for haulers, and every change stays in the world. Even a small hill can change the outcome of a raid, and digging a trench is sometimes faster than building a wall. This makes each map a sandbox that reacts to your choices.

Your people do all the work, so keeping them alive comes first. They need food, rest, and tools, and a happy settler works harder than an exhausted one. Storage and transport need attention too, because poor placement leads to bottlenecks and a collapsing supply chain. Hired haulers keep the workers focused on production instead of running around.

Peace does not last. Raiders arrive smarter and stronger, ready to exploit every mistake. Defenses, an army, and clever use of the terrain decide whether your city survives the attack. Combat sits on top of the building loop, so the same ground you shaped for trade can shield you in a fight. Losses teach as much as victories, because every broken wall shows where the planning failed.

The world keeps moving between raids. Civilizations in the sandbox grow from small medieval settlements into steampunk or magic-based cities, and random events reshape the map over time. The developers describe it as a living ecosystem where no region stays empty or meaningless.

Voxelion launched on Steam on July 10, 2026. The project is still in development, and every playthrough is meant to feel different as the world grows and changes around the player.
