About The Game

Twisted Tower is a shooter horror adventure developed by Atmos Games and published by 3D Realms. The story follows a young father named Adam whose daughter traveled to a mysterious Ivy League school in Germany and never came home for Christmas. Adam sets out to find the reason for her disappearance, and the search leads him into a place far stranger than any campus: a tower where every floor holds a new horror waiting.

The game is a first person shooter executed in the style of classic early 2000s projects, evoking comparisons with Half-Life and Resident Evil. Gameplay centers on pushing through crowds of enemies using a varied arsenal: a hand pistol, a rapid fire automatic weapon, an explosive shotgun, a precise rifle, and heavy launchers for the toughest encounters. Ammunition is limited, so players must calculate every shot and use their weapons for self defense with care rather than spraying blindly into the dark.

Reviewers have responded warmly to the ride. DualShocker scored it 9 out of 10, praising the chilling and eerie journey through what may be the scariest theme park in existence. WayTooManyGames awarded 8.5, noting that the combat exceeded expectations and that every new floor delivered fresh awe and delight. COG Connected called it a must play for fans of BioShock, classic first person shooters, haunted carnivals, and evil amusement parks, with a score of 8 out of 10.

The combination of retro shooter mechanics with a horror setting full of twisted attractions gives the adventure its identity. Searching for traces of the missing daughter drives the narrative forward floor by floor, and the escalating encounters keep the pace tight from start to finish.
