About The Game

Echoes of Mystralia is an action heavy spellcrafting role playing roguelite from developer Borealys Games, the studio behind Mages of Mystralia. The player takes the role of Mazarim, a Watcher who protects the Cycle of Memories from the Shadows of the Past.

The spell system stands at the center of everything. Memories modify and rebuild each spell. They can be combined, reordered and enhanced to produce effects like thunderbursts, freezing tornadoes or fire vortices. The building canvas stays open, and the fantasy of a personal spellbook becomes real.

The game follows the roguelite loop: run, die, return. Upgrades earned during a run do not survive defeat, but permanent progression lives in the Lotus system and in the resources collected between attempts. Each death teaches the layout of the next run.

Three regions wait for the first expeditions. Each one brings its own environments, Guardian battles and Elite fights, while hidden puzzles and Rifted Echoes reward those who explore every corner. The atmosphere mixes cartoon artistry with a land broken by war and loss.

The launch version already offers a wide library: seven magical elements, sixteen starting spells, more than forty relics and over a hundred Memories modify the combat. Fifty plus altar upgrades build the long term character, and the combinations multiply into a near endless variety.

The project arrived in Early Access on August 11, 2026. The core adventure is playable from the first minute, and the roadmap promises new spells, puzzles, relics, bosses, a final narrative act and a whole new region on the way to version 1.0.

Fans of fast paced action RPGs with deep customization will find a solid base here. The spellcrafting angle keeps the loop fresh, and the community shaped development suggests the best is still ahead.

The combat asks for quick reactions, and the spellbook asks for imagination, which together keep every encounter different from the previous one.
