Agent 64: Spies Never Die is a retro spy first person shooter from solo developer Replicant D6, built as a direct homage to the console shooters of the 90s. The hero, Secret Agent John Walter, hunts his arch nemesis Dominic Pulp across fourteen missions.

The campaign follows the classic formula. Skyscrapers, nightclubs, museums, catacombs and snow bases serve as the battlefield, and each mission mixes shootouts with objectives: hacking terminals, stealing secret plans, freeing civilian hostages. The pace stays fast, and every level is a self contained world with its own goals.

Three difficulty levels change the size of the mission. Agent, Special Agent and 64 Agent modes add objectives and open new areas, so the same level offers a different experience on each replay. The campaign works solo or in co op with up to four players.

The arsenal jumps between eras. World War era machine guns sit next to futuristic plasma rifles, and combat supports both hip firing and aiming down sights. The enemy AI carries the same retro spirit, straight out of the futuristic realm of 1997.

Multiplayer keeps the N64 traditions alive. Local split screen supports four players, while online lobbies host up to eight fighters with eight additional bots. Deathmatch, Briefcase, Zone and timed Challenges cover the competitive side, and lobby customization handles teams, weapon sets and rule sets for every taste.

More than seventy modifiers shake up every mode. Big heads, melee disarms, slower bullets and randomised weapons are just a few of the options that let players turn a serious spy mission into pure chaos, with custom preset slots for the favorite combinations.

For veterans of the 90s shooters the title feels instantly familiar, and for a new generation it offers a modernized take on a beloved formula. The package is complete: solo story, co op, local competition and wild online lobbies, with modern online play and quality of life added without losing the charm.
