About The Game

A cursed rift hides prisoners deep underground, and only one machine can reach them. Hole Is Mine is an incremental adventure by Incrementalist about cleaning that rift and freeing the residents trapped inside it.

The player controls a mysterious creature armed with a turbulent drill named Shelly. Each descent goes through 5 unique zones made of 30 dangerous levels, where valuable ore waits under layers of rock and hostile life.

Freed inhabitants, called Mini'os, join the cause automatically. They take part in resource extraction, work alongside the drill, and raise the output of every new run. The more workers are saved, the faster the whole operation moves.

Losing does not wipe progress. All mined materials survive defeat, so every attempt adds something to the next one. The village keeps being rebuilt and restored even when a dive ends badly.

Gameplay alternates between calm gathering and intense fights. Explosives and shockwaves clear groups of aggressive enemies with mass effects, while steady stat growth gradually turns routine work into spectacular cave clearing.

Development of the squad matters as much as digging. Characters can be equipped with helmets and picks, while masks and backpacks change combat skills. More than 500 equipment combinations allow deep experimentation, and 300 technological upgrades accelerate automatic mining. Workers rescued from stone traps expand the population and boost total productivity.

Beyond the numbers, the game keeps a relaxing rhythm. A session can be a short visit to gather ore or a long push through several levels, and both styles bring visible results. The interface explains every upgrade clearly, so planning the next step takes seconds.
