About The Game
Abject Abyss plunges you into a deep sea research facility where something has gone terribly wrong. Developed by Anton Bezett for release in 2026 this horror adventure sci fi action game traps you in a submerged structure miles below the ocean surface. You are a scientist returning to check on an abandoned experiment. The facility is dark flooded and eerily quiet except for the sound of metal groaning under pressure. Your only tools are a flashlight a handheld sonar and your own fading sanity. As you descend further you discover that the crew did not simply abandon the station. They were taken.
The latest version of the game features a dynamic sanity system that warps your perception. Low sanity causes the walls to bleed whispers to fill the air and shadows to move on their own. Action sequences are rare and desperate. You cannot fight the creatures you encounter. You can only run hide or use environmental distractions. Adventure exploration reveals audio logs research notes and video diaries that piece together the facility dark purpose. Sci fi elements include alien bioluminescence reality warping anomalies and a mysterious signal from the trench floor. The visual style uses deep blues blacks and occasional bioluminescent greens.
