About The Game

The Ember Guardian is a roguelike strategy game about the keeper of the last flame in a dying world. The Guardian travels with their faithful dog, gathering resources and lighting fires where only darkness remains. Each new camp becomes a temporary refuge that must be prepared for the inevitable siege. Preparing for the night requires careful planning. You must secure supplies, distribute workers among key areas, and fortify the perimeter. Upgrades unlock traps, new weapons, and additional sources of information about approaching threats. The more effective your organization, the greater your chance of surviving the onslaught.

Night attacks rely on endurance and the proper use of your arsenal. Creatures react to light, attacking in waves and testing the resilience of your defenses. Weapon modifications and active skills allow you to change your defensive style on the fly. After each cycle, new abilities unlock, enhancing subsequent attempts and expanding your tactical options.
