The False Gods Fold v0.3.08

About The Game

The False Gods Fold is a turn-based card strategy game whose combat system combines deck-building principles with classic poker rules. The outcome of battles depends on your ability to form familiar poker combinations: pairs, straights, and flushes. Each successful hand generates energy, which is used to activate abilities unique to the chosen character class. The right combination of cards allows you to build long chains of attacks, creating impressive combos. Combat strategy is determined by one of three archetypes: you can become an invincible mercenary relying on brute force, an elusive assassin using cunning, or an elemental mage commanding the forces of nature. Each has its own card set and development path.

As the Card Seeker, you embark on a journey through ruined lands and long-forgotten worlds. Your main goal is to collect forbidden cards, which are fragments of the power of fallen deities. The adventure in The False Gods Fold is randomly generated, making each journey an unpredictable challenge. Paths, events, and enemies are always unknown, and limited resources force you to carefully weigh every decision. To survive in this world and uncover its secrets, the adventurer will:

• confront monstrous creatures and ancient guardians in ruins.
• encounter soul hunters in ancient temples.
• complete a three-map challenge in Stormvale.
• flexibly adapt your strategy to the ever-changing conditions.
