About The Game

Sandbox 171 game stands out from other GTA clones with its setting. The action takes place in Brazil. The creators offer to drive around the suburbs of Sao Paulo. Poor areas with narrow streets, graffiti on the walls, dirt and garbage add a special flavor to the local atmosphere. The player controls his character from a third-person view. When shooting on the street, the camera is moved over the hero’s shoulder. You can open fire while sitting in the car. At the same time, the protagonist is able to shoot in any direction without leaning out of the car.

In 171, it is traditionally possible to steal any car. There are workshops where you can upgrade and repaint cars. Upgrades are visually displayed on the transport. In an accident, cars are realistically dented and in some situations explode. Law enforcement officers, bandits and ordinary passers-by walk around the city. They all react differently to the chaos created by the user. The game’s interface is minimalistic. The user is shown a mini-map, the police wanted level (from 1 to 5 stars), a health bar and a type of weapon. During chases, cop patrols are marked on the map, including the big one. The available weapons are a pistol, rifle, and fists. The hero does not hide weapons in an invisible inventory, but hangs them on his back. There are also clothing stores, but they are simply designed in the form of a hero skin editor that turns on outside buildings.
