About The Game

Wrath and Retribution is a fast-paced space roguelike in which the sole surviving pilot Specter One is tasked with retaking the transport network of the solar system from invaders known as the Remnants. Losing control over the transportation technology threatens to create a devastating singularity capable of consuming entire worlds. The player controls the Retribution prototype, equipped with the unique Specter Drive engine for instantly piercing through enemy formations. Support in prolonged battles is provided by the advanced onboard companion Merlin, which automatically uses active and passive skills.

The gameplay loop of Wrath and Retribution is tied to intense 7-minute sorties into conflict zones near Mars and Jupiter. Each victory in a sector brings valuable blueprints and modules that allow customizing the combat build and expanding the working potential of the artificial intelligence. Strategic route planning to the final Array nodes determines the level of preparation for boss fights. Survival under conditions of permanent death and the constant onslaught of the fleet is ensured by destroying shield generators and engines of massive warships, combining hacker attacks with powerful salvos, using dashes to quickly close the distance or retreat, installing specialized modules to increase hull survivability, and searching for rare resources in the wreckage of destroyed enemy squadrons. The final confrontations with flagships like Chernobog require perfect mastery of the arsenal and quick reaction.
