About The Game

RoboCop Rogue City is a first-person shooter set in a darkly satirical cyberpunk setting. As the name suggests, the project gives you the opportunity to control a robot policeman. The game allows you to shoot from the signature Auto-9 pistol and use other hero abilities familiar from films about RoboCop. The action traditionally takes place in a near dystopian future on the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. Lawlessness and corruption reign in this metropolis, and power has long belonged to corporations. The police are trying to somehow maintain order, but they are forced to obey the companies. The protagonist is programmed to follow the directives of his superiors. However, players are allowed to decide for themselves exactly how to carry out orders from management.

Plot-wise, RoboCop Rogue City is not particularly related to the films or other products of this franchise. However, the project tries to maintain the atmosphere of 80s action films. It contains references for fans. A stand-alone story featuring the new adventures of Alex Murphy is featured here. He was once an ordinary cop. One day, the protagonist was mutilated and killed by criminals while performing a task. Scientists were able to give him a second life, turning him into a cyborg. Now he follows the letter of the law and protects innocent people in a titanium body with Kevlar prosthetics. In the story, the hero tries to defeat a powerful evil that is trying to destroy his home.
