PARKSIDE DECAYED SOUL MANIPULATION is an indie action RPG and first person simulator developed by Banana Hardsoft. Set in 2038 in the grim, military patrolled city of Abbotsford, California, the story follows out of work hacker Alexander Petrovich after he is kidnapped by a mysterious group called the Illuminated Brothers of the Automaton Conclave. Connected to an experimental combat platform called Polyphemus, Alexander is forced to carry out dangerous missions at the behest of an entity known as the Divine Rod using a device called the Remote Combatant Viewer. The story progresses, giving players the freedom to choose whether to aid the Brotherhood or side with a guardian angel, while an ominous voice in Alexander head warns that judgment is imminent.
