About The Game

Citadelum is a strategy city builder with mythological elements. The project allows you to build, expand and honor your settlements, while forging complex relationships with ancient deities. It includes strategic elements, and these force you to manage resources, defend your cities and explore new territories. In Citadelum, players start by building their settlements. They collect resources from forests and quarries, raise animals and grow vegetables. Fishing and winemaking are also necessary to keep the population healthy and fed. Users improve their buildings and ensure the supply of water through aqueducts.

Citizens are welcomed into the village as artisans, farmers and carpenters, while others are trained to join the legions in various divisions. Towers and walls are crucial to protect the village from barbarian attacks as it grows into a bustling city. Expansion is a crucial aspect. Players explore the world map, liberating besieged villages and using the might of advanced legions in tactical auto-battles. By defending territories, it is possible to establish trade routes, import exotic resources and expand the economy.

Explorers can find mythological objects, and these will help in expanding and completing Senate missions, adding depth to the strategic process. Worship of the gods is an important feature of the Citadel. Users build temples and make offerings to gain the favor of the gods, who grant gifts. However, the gods are capricious and can be ruthless, which can lead to possible punishments if one deity is favored over another. This interaction with the deities is a non-linear, replayable narrative full of mythical encounters. You will need to be prepared for divine intervention, be it beneficial or harmful.
