About The Game

A case file lands on the desk, a short list of suspects comes with it, and a screen full of tools waits for orders. That is how every day begins in Homicide Desk, a detective simulation from developer and publisher Shu'la Lab LLC. The project works the way a real homicide desk works, and it leaves the whole case on the player's shoulders.

There are no waypoints here, no glowing clues, and no cutscenes telling you what to think. The player reads the evidence, runs the forensics lab, and pieces the picture of the crime together by hand. Everything lives on the desktop: case files with nested folders, reports, documents. The game hands over the tools and gets out of the way.

Interrogations are the heart of the experience, and they run without a dialogue tree. The player types questions in their own words, and the suspect answers back in natural, conversational language: deflecting, rationalizing, contradicting themselves. Sliding a document across the table makes the stress meter spike. Push too hard on nothing, and the suspect lawyers up and walks out. Corner them with the right evidence, and the story finally cracks.

The stakes sit on both sides of the table. Get the charge right, and the case closes. Accuse the wrong person, and Internal Affairs opens a file on the detective himself. That risk turns every accusation into a real decision rather than a guess, and it gives the whole investigation its weight. The game never tells you when you are ready to charge someone. You either are or you are not.

Homicide Desk is aimed at players who enjoy slow, careful investigation games where reading matters more than reflexes. It arrived on 01 September 2026 and fits anyone who ever wanted to work a case the hard way: with evidence, patience, and their own words.
