About The Game

Total War ROME 2 Emperor Edition is the final and most complete version of the strategy game, consisting of TBS and RTS mechanics. Gamers are invited to participate in the reconstruction of ancient history with the ability to change it beyond recognition through their actions. The single player campaign allows you to take control of one of the many European tribes or become the ruler of a noble Roman family, each of which yearns to take Rome and rule alone. Also playable factions are Egypt led by Cleopatra, Iceni, Pompeii, Armenia, Dacia, Parthia and so on. This edition includes all the additional scenarios and other improvements made by the developers throughout the development of the project with large-scale online battles and cooperative battles against artificial intelligence.

A new main campaign called Emperor Augustus has appeared, which is much longer than all other stories in Total War Rome 2. It starts in 42 BC, immediately after the start of riots associated with people’s discontent, which intensified after the assassination of Gaius Julius Caesar. The gameplay consists of improving your own possessions by building new buildings inside cities, fortifications, roads and other infrastructure. By earning money, powerful warriors become available to the gamer, with which you can begin to capture enemy regions to expand the empire. It is possible to enter into alliances for the sake of obtaining additional support.
