About The Game

Somerville begins with an alien invasion of hostile creatures. They set themselves a single goal — the destruction of people and the appropriation of the territories of our planet. The player will control the father of the surviving family. A man saves his relatives from the attack of deadly creatures. The goal of the task will be to go from the starting point to the final goal. The path will not be easy and dangerous, because everywhere is full of traps from uninvited guests. You can play as any of the three family members and their pet.

The main helper in Somerville will be a substance called «sediment». Most often it can be found in water and land. The monoliths in the air and the aliens are also composed of it. Using light weapons, you can influence the «sediment» in the way the character needs. Depending on the situation, the substance can be formed in different ways. If you need to go through the monolith, then you can make a tunnel in it. Otherwise, the substance can be strengthened and move further along it. The impact on the alien mass depends on the applied color in the weapon. As you progress through the spectrum increases, allowing the player to unlock more options.

In the process of passing the character will repel the attacks of aliens, if they are seen by them. Along the way, the character will find powerful weapons that can destroy the enemy. Interacting with survivors will increase the chances of making the journey safer and faster. The player will have to hide, make his way, shoot down obstacles, swim long distances under water.
