South of the Circle v1.0.3 - GOG

About The Game

South of the Circle is a narrative visual novel in the point and click genre. This is an emotional game with a deep multi-layered cinematic story. It raises questions about the consequences of life choices, about the clash of career and love, about trying to maneuver between the present and the past. You play as Peter, a Cambridge scientist who crash-lands in Antarctica during the Cold War. While he seeks help, his past is gradually revealed, showing how the pressure of power and his own aspirations have led the hero to a crisis that must somehow be resolved. As the romance between Peter and his co-worker Clara develops, Peter realizes the value of his promises. But some vows will stay with him forever, like childhood memories.
