Deadly Premonition 2 A Blessing in Disguise — is a continuation of an unusual adventure action game with a third-person view and horror elements. The game is both a sequel and a prequel to the original Deadly Premonition, released in 2010. You will be constantly thrown along different timelines, allowing you to travel back in time. In the center of the plot is the peaceful town of Le Carre, where mysterious murders once took place. Sequel to Deadly Premonition. This time, FBI agent York is sent to the Old Quarter of New Orleans, where a mysterious case of a serial killer falls into his hands. He has to solve several murders, while remembering the events of the first part of the game.Deadly Premonition didn’t need a sequel at all, and the Director’s Cut epilogue seemed to cut off any possibility of it. However, the authors of the second part found a very unusual loophole, and combined in one game both the continuation of the history of York and the prequel to the events that took place in Greenvale. In Deadly Premonition 2 there are two timelines at once. In 2019, FBI agent Alaya Davis interrogates Francis Zach Morgan about the events that happened 14 years ago in the city of Le Carré, located on the banks of the Mississippi. The main action takes place right here in 2005 — 5 years before Deadly Premonition.
Francis York Morgan, while on vacation in Le Carre, finds himself embroiled in an investigation into the murder of the heiress of the Clarkson family, which owns almost the entire city. The dismembered body of the girl was found on a makeshift altar under the bridge, and for lack of a morgue, they were placed in a warehouse where frozen food is stored. From there, it mysteriously disappeared, and was discovered only in 2019. Therefore, Agent Davis decides to interrogate Zach on a case closed many years ago.
