About The Game

FAR Lone Sails — is a very challenging exploration adventure game in which you will have to go to an alternate apocalyptic future and try to survive in it while traveling and exploring the world around you. Do you think there can be no apocalypse without zombies and war. You are wrong, and this game is direct proof of that. In an alternate future, the oceans and seas have simply dried up, and a wasteland has formed on the site of a once prosperous civilization. No people, no animals, no cities everything has sunk into oblivion, and you are one of the few survivors who managed to adapt to living conditions in the new world.

Driving an unusual ship, vessel, you will travel through the endless expanses of the new world and explore it. Ahead of you are the wastelands of the new world, travel on the former seabed, riddles and physical puzzles, weather resistance and survival. But do not think that you will be unarmed your ship will be your main weapon. At first it will be an ordinary car, but later you will turn it into a monster that will be able to drive through the expanses of the new world even without fuel.

FAR Lone Sails Patch 1.3

• Fixed an issue where level sections were not loaded in rare cases.
• Fixed a bug where the sail would not open after a specific event in the game.
• Fixed a bug which causes the «Fire in the Hole» achievement not to trigger. Unfortunately this bugfix is not compatible with existing save games and needs a fresh progress / start.
• Added support for next-gen game controllers.
• Added support for Steam Deck.

Along the way, you will meet the remnants of civilization, various buildings and structures of the sunken world, find various modifications for your ship, find evidence of the existence of the lost world, relics and much more. Somewhere you will have to think a lot before you manage to overcome the next obstacle, and somewhere you will have to get out of the ship and run around the wasteland on your own two feet. No battles, no war, and a complete lack of weapons. In FAR: Lone Sails, the focus is primarily on an atmospheric journey, during which you will experience the bitterness of loss, travel a lot and learn a lot about the reasons for the disappearance of civilization.
