Salt and Sacrifice — is a metroidvania that has become the long-awaited sequel to Salt and Sanctuary. Events unfold in the same world as the first part, only in a different era. The story tells about a not very successful criminal who was caught in another robbery and now he is waiting for execution. At the last moment, the king offers a deal: the hero must help rid the kingdom of magicians, and in return he will receive freedom … if he survives. Would like to note that the magicians in this game do not look like frail old men in robes, but are giant creatures with unique abilities.
