About The Game
OPUS Echo of Starsong — is a puzzle-solving and space exploration adventure game in which we accompany the two main characters in the extraction of a precious substance that is the source of numerous political conflicts, and reveal the secret that he and the entire universe are guards. The game was created and published by SIGONO INC, The studio responsible for the previous OPUS games, OPUS Rocket of Whispers and OPUS The Day We Found Earth. The game takes place in an alternate future where asteroids contain a mysterious substance called Lumen. It is so powerful that it has become the subject of controversy. In the game we play as Lee, a boy who was exiled by his people, and now he himself wants to take possession of Lumen in order to glorify his clan and join him again.Unfortunately, things don’t go as smoothly as he would like until he meets a young woman, Edu, who he saves from trouble. For a woman, a witch who can sense the presence of substances. Thus begins an adventure for these two that will change them forever. OPUS Echo of Starsong places a lot of emphasis on exploring the world. In addition to exploring various cities, we have to travel in a spaceship in search of Lumen across territories belonging to different and conflicting factions we must also avoid asteroids and other obstacles.
Along the way, we meet a number of minor characters with whom we can interact and learn about their history. In some of them, we even have a chance to find an ally sympathetic to our cause. In addition, we will find here many different environmental puzzles to solve, and even a segment based on resource management. OPUS Echo of Starsong is a 3D game with a distinctive setting that reflects a style typical of Japanese animation.
