About The Game
Ragnorium — is an unusual colony building game. In the distant future, space exploration is advancing at a Stakhanovian pace, and the clones establish vast human colonies. Your task is to create clones, lead them to a new home, establish an outpost, guide it through technological ages and solve the problems that will inevitably arise. The game resembles several simulators at once: Sim City, and interspersed Civilization with a pinch of No Man’s Sky, and a narrative layer inspired by Warhammer 40K. There is also a particle that refers to Banished: each colonist will be able to master a profession, you can role-play to develop his skills and personality. In the course of the play, the game will throw up plot forks, where difficult decisions will have to be made for the colony to flourish.Interestingly, while technically the Early Access release took place today, the game appears to have been in private testing for several months. This allowed developer Vitaly Kirp to work out the basics: graphics, sound, and user interface before making the game public. The developer promises a major update in the future. We’ll say that the game looks suspiciously like one project that some fans of The Sims have heard about. A couple of years ago, on the forums of this community, information was actively collected about how gamers relate to the simulator of life in space. These discussions touched upon issues such as colonization and quest advancement of the plot with a choice.
It is possible that initially the product was supposed to become a simulator of a different kind however, all this is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. The project has attracted quite a lot of people this is a lot by the standards of an indie game that does not have much funding. Therefore, there is every reason to believe that in the final version we will get a very good and strong simulator of a space colony.
