Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 2 — the second part of the Bloodstained Ritual of the Night prequel. Behind the development are the authors of the original, Inti Creates Studio. As before, the project was led by Koji Igarashi, the main producer of the Castlevania series in 1999-2011. The protagonist of the game Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 2 is known from the previous release, namely a demon hunter named Zangetsu. The hero must get to the fortress inhabited by the infernal spawn, and send the creatures to where they came from. However, the hero does not need to act alone, as other heroes join him on the way, who actively help him in his struggle. We are talking about Dominica, the mysterious caster, the former soldier Robert, who fought with the Zangets many years ago.In Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 2, the action was shown from the side. During the game, we travel across vast locations and fight oncoming enemies, avoiding numerous obstacles on our way and jumping on platforms. We can switch between heroes at any time, which is important because they have unique abilities that we must use both during battle and during research. Levels have a non-linear structure, and although each level has a universal path that every character can follow, it usually turns out to be the longest and most trapped. For this reason, it is often better to switch to a specific protagonist and look for a shortcut for him.
No matter which direction we end up in, we encounter countless enemies on our way. Each level crowns this battle with a powerful boss. The fights look a little different for each hero. While Zangetsuto uses the sword Zangetsuto, supporting himself with a ball and chain, a demonic essence and magic spells, Dominic mainly uses spears and offensive magic and healing spells. Robert, on the other hand, destroys his enemies with the help of a musket and, among other things, grenades and a powerful gun, armed with Hachis heavy armor, he sends demons to hell, fighting in close combat, making his armor almost indestructible if necessary. In Bloodstained Curse of the Moon 2, you can play alone or in cooperative cooperative mode. In addition, the game has two difficulty levels, namely Casual for beginners and Veteran, prepared for battle enthusiasts. Like the last part, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 has pixel graphics from the 8-bit era. Chiptune soundtrack completes the retro style.
