About The Game

Stream Train is a chilling cooperative horror game where conducting a high-stakes live stream becomes the key to survival in the heart of an anomalous wilderness. Storyline and Setting: The game’s dark universe drops a team of explorers onto a dilapidated railway line running through the Uncanny Valley a region rife with anomalies. The world is teeming with hostile otherworldly entities, ghosts, and ancient cryptids, turning every stop of the locomotive into a life threatening ordeal. A suffocating atmosphere of hopelessness is compounded by the constant need to venture outside the armored train to scavenge for vital resources and fulfill contracts.

Gameplay and Mechanics: The core gameplay revolves around constant interaction with an online audience, who follow the expedition through the lens of an onboard camera. To earn generous donations used to purchase coal and equipment the streamers must walk a fine line, intentionally documenting paranormal phenomena and provoking monsters. The creatures are governed by an advanced AI that reacts sharply to noise, meaning a single clumsy move by the team could prove fatal.

Co-op and Procedural World: Designed for up to six players, the game assigns specific roles to each participant from camera operator to explorer of abandoned structures. Procedural generation ensures that the placement of quest items, the nature of anomalies, and enemy spawn points along the tracks are constantly shifting. Success depends on seamless teamwork and careful inventory management, which are essential for guiding the train to a safe conclusion.
