About The Game

A mining town worships a stone god that just fell sick in Shanwen. FirstMove Studio built this horror puzzle adventure set in the windswept 1990s. The town of Lingshan lives off an aging coal mine and an old belief in the Mountain God Stele. Recently the stele cracked and brown liquid seeps from the wounds while a strange illness spreads through the streets. A strange illness spreads through the streets while the stone bleeds. Lin Tianqing returns home to his sick father and hears whispers he does not like. The mining town setting gives every alley a heavy quiet. The system requirements plus screenshots and gameplay videos are Whispers follow Lin Tianqing from the very first evening home. The stele sits at the center of every belief in town.

Investigation walks the line between folk horror and quiet dread. You explore the town talk with residents and piece together what the stele and the illness truly share. The period setting gives everything texture because coal dust old radios and narrow alleys carry the mood. Puzzles blend with the story so every answered question opens a darker one behind it. The 1990s texture comes from coal dust old radios and narrow streets. The point and click structure keeps the pace deliberately slow while the horror grows in the background. Residents carry stories that slowly map the town fear. Residents carry small stories that slowly map the shape of the fear in town. The town map slowly fills with places worth fearing. Old beliefs and coal dust mix into one heavy air. The stele lore grows darker with every conversation. In this hub you always see the latest version of the game and the patch notes that list what the developers fixed or improved. Point and click pacing suits the slow burning horror.
