Gladiators chained to their own friends fight for freedom in Chained Beasts. Featherweight Games built this co op gladiator roguelike for one to four players where the chain is both the joke and the tactic. The arena crowd wants blood The arena crowd wants blood and the show never waits and the heroes want to survive the day. Combat mixes swords with the environment itself because an urn thrown at a foe works as well as a blade. Every battle turns physical comedy into a real weapon. Every arena brings its own hazards to abuse.

Teamwork decides everything because the chain never lets you roam far. You hurl enemies into walls of spikes drag friends out of danger and use the chain itself as a spinning weapon. Positioning matters because two chained fighters who run apart spin each other into disaster. Bosses arrive with real teeth and the injuries they cause carry between fights since physical and mental wounds heal slowly. Mental injuries change how your gladiator behaves which adds strategy to the madness. Winning over the crowd matters as much as winning the fight because applause buys freedom. Between runs the camp lets you prepare for the next set of fights. Solo play works too though the chain needs a willing partner even then. The slapstick tone keeps the brutality fun rather than grim. Roguelike progression keeps each session different from the last one. Arena variety keeps the crowd loud. The crowd throws coins at clean finishes.
