About The Game

A superpowered cop in a city owned by crime is the classic setup of Crackdown 3. Sumo Digital built this open world action game for Xbox Game Studios. The city of New Providence falls under the grip of the TerraNova syndicate and one agent lands on the rooftops to break that grip alone. Skills grow through action so every chased criminal every leap and every explosion pushes the agent closer to true superhuman levels. Rooftop chases end in flying tackles and a fully trained agent can throw a truck across a plaza. The city plays like a vertical playground where rooftops are roads and gravity is a suggestion. The syndicate watches everything from floating cameras so the war starts on the streets and ends in the clouds. Movement is the main toy here. You sprint across walls leap between towers and punch vehicles into orbit while collecting orbs that raise agility and strength. Hidden orbs number in the hundreds and hunting them turns the whole city into a treasure map. The map rewards climbing because rare orbs sit exactly where nobody walks. Boss hunts split the city into zones and each boss falls to a different style of chaos. Each takedown opens new paths through the story because the bosses control different parts of the city. Guns vehicles and raw fists all level up separately which lets every player build a personal approach. The wingsuit turns tall towers into launch pads for long glides over traffic. The campaign also plays in co op so two agents can tear the syndicate apart together. Chaos shared doubles the fun because both agents level up while the city burns.
