Modern war looks different when it is watched from above, and Hell Of War Combined Arms from Ravens Row builds an entire game around that view. It is a real time command action title with simulation and strategy elements, and it entered Early Access in September 2026. The player commands a whole operation from a command drone, coordinating infantry, armored vehicles, combat drones and artillery across a live battlefield. The key twist is the ability to seamlessly take direct control of any unit on the field, switching from the strategist view straight into the boots of a single soldier or the turret of a vehicle. Combined arms is not just a subtitle: victory depends on making these different branches work as one machine instead of a crowd of separate units. The project aims at players who always wanted to command a real combined arms battle instead of watching one in a cutscene, and the Early Access format lets the developers shape the simulation together with that audience.

The gameplay lives on the constant switching between the command level and the direct control level. From the drone view the player reads the front line, sends orders and times the artillery strikes, and when a moment of crisis appears, one click drops the camera into the exact unit that can change the situation. The simulation layer makes equipment matter: armor soaks damage that would erase infantry, drones scout where humans would die, and artillery wins fights only when someone spots the target. Missions grow from small skirmishes to full operations that test planning as much as reflexes. Among the most interesting features are the seamless perspective shifts that remove all loading barriers, the genuine combined arms balance where every unit type covers the weakness of another, and the Early Access roadmap that keeps adding new vehicles and scenarios to the battle set. The balance work is visible: units cost resources, mistakes cost units, and the front line always reflects the quality of the plan rather than the number of repeated clicks.
