One night in a cursed manor is all the time the heroine gets in The Witch First Halloween, an adventure with casual and simulation elements from Towndarktales released in September 2026. The game is a standalone expanded remake of the first chapter set on the Halloween night of Agnet, the haunted house where Chelsea must collect diary fragments, meet restless ghosts and survive until morning. The player shapes her path through three very different outcomes: surrender to the temptations of the house, banish the monsters that stalk the corridors, or release the cursed souls from their torment. The remaster adds new routes and scenes while keeping the striking black and white visual world and the memorable dollhouse sequences that made the original stand out. The remake treatment means newcomers can start here without reading anything first, while returning players get enough new material to justify a second visit to the manor and its secrets.

The gameplay mixes exploration of the manor with collecting fragments of the diary that slowly reveal the history of Agnet and its inhabitants. Each ghost encounter works as a small story with its own stakes, and the choices made during these meetings push Chelsea toward one of the possible endings. The black and white presentation does more than decoration: it sharpens the silhouettes, hides threats in the shadows and gives the whole night an unsettling storybook look. The dollhouse sections change the rhythm by letting the player arrange and observe the fates of the residents from a strange distance. Among the most interesting features are the three branching paths with different finales, the expanded content that deepens the original story, and the bold monochrome style that proves horror does not need color to look striking. Fear here is built from details rather than cheap shocks, so the horror lands for patient players and the whole night reads like an illustrated ghost story told by candlelight.
