About The Game

Crown Of Hispania is a grand strategy game from Regalis Studio, published by indie.io and released in early access on September 22, 2026. The campaign opens in the year 1035, when the death of Sancho III of Navarre splits his kingdom between his sons and the once mighty Caliphate of Cordoba has already crumbled into rival taifas. The Iberian Peninsula stands divided between Christian kingdoms in the north and Muslim taifas in the south, and no ruler agrees on who should hold the land. As a noble of this turbulent age you must write your own legend, and every choice made on the battlefield, in the council chambers or in the shadows of a conspiracy shapes your dynasty and your place in history. You decide whether to crush your vassals or let them tear each other apart, and whether to reclaim Toledo and Granada or build a fragile peace with your Muslim neighbors.

The gameplay is inspired by the great dynastic and empire builders of the genre but goes deeper on a fully simulated population, where every culture and religion lives as a people that grows, migrates and reacts to your decisions. Armies move freely across the map without the usual province restrictions, which opens up realistic strategies, flanking and careful positioning in battle. The region is rendered in remarkable detail with more than three hundred hand built provinces matched to the real terrain of Iberia rather than a thin world map. A challenging AI actively fights back instead of sitting still, and a dynamic engagement system makes every battle feel more grounded. You expand through war or diplomacy, balance cultures and faiths within your realm, and grow your economy through construction, trade and powerful decrees while stability never stays guaranteed. Every ruler will face revolt, faith struggles and hard peaces, and no two campaigns unfold the same way.
