About The Game

SuperStore Simulator is a simulation with a comic streak, developed by Codebusters Studio and Duality Games and published by DRAGO entertainment. Your property is a small store that used to sit on the edge of suburbia, and the neighborhood has grown up around it until the shop now stands at the center of a bustling district. That is the opportunity and the problem in equal measure: a location this good deserves a supermarket, and turning one corner store into a retail landmark is the entire game. Money is the limiting factor at every step, so expansion is a ladder rather than a leap, and each new wall, shelf and parking space has to be paid for by the last. The rivals in the district are watching your rise with folded arms, and they will not be happy about it, which keeps the tone light while the competition stays real. The humorous streak runs through everything, from the absurd scale of the renovations to the petty drama of retail rivalry.

The gameplay mixes construction, merchandising and day to day shopkeeping. Renovation is thorough, letting you move, remove and erect walls, handle installations, shape the interior design and even build outside, adding parking spaces and a playground that pull families toward your doors. Once the shell exists, the retail decisions begin: what goods to stock, how to present and place them, what prices to set and which special offers to run, with empty shelves always punished by a bad impression from customers. Cleanliness is a daily job, and the game hands you a genuine tradeoff there, since an old fashioned broom saves money while electric cleaning carts save time. Walls need repainting now and then, and shelves benefit from reordering to improve the shopping experience as your shop grows into its new neighborhood. Among the most interesting features is how completely money governs the pace, making every upgrade a strategic choice instead of a simple checklist item.
