About The Game

The forces of darkness are gathering power in Din's Champion, a sidescrolling 2D action RPG from Soldak Entertainment, which developed and published the game. The world lives on its own schedule and waits for no one. While you explore, collect, craft, and build, evil factions amass strength and execute their own designs. Left unchecked, they will bring devastating consequences to the land.

You decide how to face the coming storm. One path is to find strength in numbers and build a massive town, gathering resources and recruiting an army of dozens or even hundreds of NPCs. The other path is to strike out alone, relying on personal skill and strength. A multiplayer mode also lets friends join the adventure, so you can push back the evil gods together. Both approaches shape the way the story unfolds.

Character growth runs deep. Dozens of classes wait to be chosen, each with its own skill tree, strengths, and weaknesses. You mine, gather materials, and craft weapons and armor with different stats and perks to equip your warrior. The collected resources also go into defensive structures and items that can change the environment around you.

The enemy forces are mighty, varied, and always scheming. Monsters plan ambushes, strike when you are weak, and even instigate uprisings inside your settlement. Beyond the creatures, the land itself is dangerous. Collapsing terrain and deadly gases threaten every expedition, so careful preparation matters as much as a sharp blade. If you fail to stem the tide, the enemy will simply overwhelm you.

Every choice carries consequences. You may stop to save a stranger, focus on curing a deadly plague, or gather resources for the next crisis. The world reacts to each decision. Din's Champion combines hack and slash combat, open world exploration, and deep role playing systems in a fantasy setting where nothing stands still.
