About The Game

Swordcery is an RPG from Temple Door Games, the action of which unfolds in Armorial, a kingdom over which a threat looms in the form of a huge sword, draining the energy of the planet, sent by celestial evil. Players take on the role of Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield countless magical swords pouring down upon the kingdom.

Each weapon you pick up belongs to a certain class of swords, which has its own combos and maneuvers, which gives you special tactical advantages depending on the terrain and combat situation. In addition to physical combat, swords have a unique magic called Swordcery that allows you to deliver boomerang strikes, summon lightning, open fissures of hellfire, or create protective ice shields.

Battles with enemies force you to learn attack patterns, react to predictable attacks, rationally spend resources and balance between powerful melee attacks and spells. The game is built around procedurally generated dungeons set in treacherous biomes, and each pass offers new weapons to unlock, game-changing relics, and class upgrades to unlock. In the end, survival depends on your ability to master this magical arsenal and defeat formidable bosses.
