About The Game

Shrinking down to the atomic level is the opening move of Proton and Electron, a pixel style puzzle platformer from ElectronLab. The story places you inside a piece of electronic equipment corroded by antimatter, where the scientist known as Dr. Proton must personally enter the machine to repair it from within.

He does not work alone. Local creatures called Electron Sprites live inside the device, and they become his companions on the journey. You control both Dr. Proton and an Electron Sprite, using their opposite electric charges to solve the puzzles that block the path. Pulling and repelling objects with electricity turns every chamber into a small physics problem, and the two characters must cooperate to move forward. Switching between them at the right moment is what separates a quick solution from a long struggle.

The microelectronic world you explore is full of mystery. Corridors built from circuits, damaged components and strange structures make up the map, and each region introduces new ways to use the electromagnetic mechanics. The designers keep the rules intuitive, so no prior knowledge of physics is required. The same force that powers the device becomes your main tool for traversal, and mastering it is the key to progressing through the adventure.

Action mixes with the puzzle solving as the corruption spreads. The antimatter that damaged the equipment also spawns hostile obstacles, and the journey builds toward a final confrontation with the antimatter boss responsible for the decay. Along the way, repairing the machine and uncovering what happened inside it keep the story moving between the platforming challenges, so the difficulty rises together with the stakes.

Developed and published by ElectronLab, the game wraps its science inspired premise in a bright pixel art style, offering a casual friendly adventure where electromagnetism stops being an abstract subject and becomes something you play with directly.
